Union Street Pocket park in Downtown Danville, VA.
On Wednesday, May 19th city officials and leaders cut the ribbon on the new pocket park on South Union Street in Danville. The project in included a Corten steel X1. In the creation of the park, the city employed the help of landscape architect Trenda Leavitt with Beechgrove Design to come up with a look for the park that would take the place of the building that started as New and Miller Carriage Co. in the late 19th century.
